Headset Sounds Like Robot

My volume settings were set to headset speakers which makes the robotic voices sound.

Headset sounds like robot. Fresh installed windows 10 and when i plug my sennheiser game zero headset in the 3 5mm jacks i sound like a robot when i try and talk. I would go into the device manager which is in the system tab of the control panel and completely uninstall the sound card and any other related components. Switch it back to just headset and it should be back to normal if your headset is working properly. Then let windows hopefully re detect and reinstall the sound card and its associated drivers if you need more info on anything just ask.

It does sound like something having to do with your sound card drivers. For reference i have a 2600x with a 2080 fresh windows install with proper driver installation asus rog strix x470 f motherboard. I was sitting in teamspeak and talking and all of the sudden my friends says my mic went full robot my voice is also very hard to hear. The headphones in which i use are the usb razer.

In this short quick fix video i share with you how i managed to fix my sound where my mic recording had an echo and it sounded like i was a robot. Hopefully this can help others later on. I have tried talking right after a complete wipe install with usb and no drivers and have also tried after installing the mobo drivers gigabyte x79 up4. It just kind of broke mid talk i have tried using different usb ports restarting using audio troubleshooter which says it found a problem that says audio enhancements didn t load and i let windows fix the problem and restarted my pc.
